Hussein
Hussein came to Arizona on November 30, 2005. He suffered multiple
traumas to his face as a result of a land mine explosion in Iraq.
Healing the Children's goal for Hussein is to restore vision in
his one remaining eye. |

For two months, Hussein and his Aunt Njeiha stayed at the Ronald
Mcdonald House in Phoenix. After learning that Hussein would need
to stay in Arizona for a year, Aunt Njeiha returned to Iraq. Hussein
was taken in by the Karam host family. |
| In spite of his physical limitations, Hussein is a happy child,
capturing the hearts of all who met him. |

Hussein is receiving services from Phoenix Children's Hospital,
Dr. Brendan Cassidy, Dr. Jung Dao and Dr. Shepard Bryan.
