May 2009: Cardiac Team helps Ethiopian children in Addis Ababa hospital:

A team of two nurses, a perfusionist and cardiac Surgeon Dr. Michael Teodori traveled to Addis Ababa to conduct a series of more complicated heart procedures, like Tetralogies of Fallot, on children that have long been waiting for this life saving procedure. They were joined by an anesthesiologist from Italy as part of a collaborative work with the Children's Heart Fund of Ethiopia and Chain of Hope in the UK
