| HTC Arizona joins other HTC Chapters in support of a project
recognized by the National Office as a Special Project. These projects, such
as building a clinic, or supplying a hospital with medical equipment, are usually
too big for a single chapter to support, yet are of extreme importance for
the overall good of children in developing countries. |

The Arizona Chapter is proud to join the National Organization in support
of the Children's Heart Fund of Ethiopia, and their work to build a Pediatric
Cardiac Center in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia.This center, expected to be completed by spring 2008, will provide specialized cardiac care to children in the Horn of Africa. |

The Children's Heart Fund of Ethiopia is a private, non-profit specialized
charitable organization committed to helping children with cardiac problems.
They deliver care in three main services areas:
- Curative: Treating and saving the lives of children at risk
- Preventive: Increase knowledge about rheumatic heart disease
- Development: Provisions and capacity-building of pediatric cardiology in country, in terms of facility, equipment and training
